Most leave within their first five years, citing lack of support, preparation, and practical guidance as the primary reasons.
Nearly 406,000 teaching positions across the U.S. are either unfilled or staffed by teachers without full certification — approximately one in eight teaching roles nationally.

Every year, thousands of new teachers walk into their first classroom full of purpose. What they don't know, is that they don't have enough support to sustain it!
Clearpath exists for that teacher.
We provide the real coaching that turns a hard first year into a lasting career. We want to help districts build the kind of schools great teachers choose to stay in.
There is no shortage of organizations offering districts a platform, a portal, or a program. Some will certify your teachers. Others will optimize your scheduling or stock a video library with professional development content.
We're not here to minimize. These things have value — but they do not follow a teacher into a classroom on a hard Tuesday in October. They do not sit with a struggling new teacher after a lesson falls completely apart. They are not there to help that teacher understand why, and what to do differently tomorrow.
That is what Clearpath does.
Better instruction and stronger student engagement are not coincidental. They are the result of deliberate, targeted support grounded in a framework that takes teacher development seriously.
At Clearpath, that is not just our approach — it is our mission.
As a first-year alternative certification teacher, the learning curve was incredibly steep. I was learning pedagogy, strengthening my content knowledge, and trying to figure out how to effectively engage students, all at the same time. Clearpath Teaching Solutions provided the support I needed to be successful from day one.
The one-on-one coaching was invaluable. Having a thought partner who could help me plan lessons, refine my instructional practices, and provide practical strategies made a tremendous difference in my confidence and effectiveness in the classroom. The coaching helped me better understand how students learn, how to increase engagement, and how to deliver rigorous instruction that led to real results.
Because of the support I received, my students achieved exceptional growth, and I earned the highest learning gains in the math department at my school. More importantly, I developed the skills and mindset necessary to make a lasting impact on student achievement.
The transition into teaching was challenging, but Clearpath Teaching Solutions made it manageable. I am grateful for the guidance, expertise, and encouragement I received throughout my first year.

We are not hiring right now, but we would love to stay connected.

I believe in education. With 21 years of experience working in K12 districts across the nation, I know first-hand how education can break cycles of generational poverty and create generations of wealth.
New teachers deserve more than a classroom key and a hope for the best year. I want to continue to develop and grow teachers that transform classroom experiences. Teachers that create student interactions that will change their lives.
Clearpath gives teachers a clear path forward and districts the retention results that follow. It's a win-win!
