Most professional development assumes every teacher needs the same thing. Clearpath starts by questioning that assumption. Before any coaching begins, we conduct a structured developmental assessment of each teacher — because what a teacher in the entry stage of their development is navigating is not what a teacher in the habit-formation stage is facing, and treating them the same does both a disservice.
The Clearpath Framework is our proprietary four-stage model for new teacher growth. It is built on a simple truth: teachers develop at different rates based on where they start, what they experience, and the support they receive. Rather than measuring growth by the school calendar, we measure it by what teachers can actually do. Each stage describes observable changes in classroom practice, and teachers move forward when the evidence shows they are ready.
The arc typically unfolds over one to three years. Teachers progress through the stages based on observable indicators. A teacher's pace depends on their entry point, their school context, and the consistency of support they receive.
Clearpath designs every engagement around the standards and frameworks that govern your schools. Whether that means aligning to your state's educator evaluation system, your district's instructional coaching framework, or specific content and grade-level standards, we build our curriculum, coaching protocols, and progress indicators to reflect the context your leaders and teachers actually work in. Our approach is consistent. Our delivery is yours.
The Clearpath New Teacher Coaching Program is a 90-day structured engagement built around the Clearpath Framework. Every engagement begins with a Stage Self-Assessment for each teacher. As a result, coaching starts from an honest picture of where each teacher actually is, not where we assume they are.
The 90-day program consists of the following:
Pricing: starting at $12,000 per school or district
No. Any provider who tells you otherwise is overselling. Teacher development is a process that typically unfolds over one to three years. The Clearpath Framework is a developmental map for that full journey, not a 90-day sprint to the finish line.
What our 90-day program does, honestly and with intention, is place every teacher clearly within the framework, coach them through their most pressing development priorities at their current stage, and equip them with the reflective tools, language, and momentum to continue growing well beyond the engagement.
Ninety days of focused, structured coaching combined with objective Swivl M2 data is enough to produce measurable growth in classroom practice, build genuine professional confidence, and create the kind of student engagement that principals see in walkthroughs. That is what we promise and what we deliver.
The 90-day engagement is the beginning of the teacher's developmental journey, not the end. Every teacher in a Clearpath cohort leaves with:
For districts that want continued support, our Tier 3 District Partnership embeds Clearpath into your induction and teacher development strategy on an ongoing basis, across one or more of the seven cohort tracks. We are also happy to discuss how to build internal coaching capacity so your district can sustain and extend the work independently over time.
The Clearpath Foundations Workshop is our Tier 1 entry-level offer — a half-day (3 hours) or full-day (6 hours) facilitated session that delivers the highest-leverage tools from the Clearpath New Teacher Toolkit in classroom management, student engagement, and reflective practice.
The workshop stands alone as a strong, practical professional development experience. But it is also designed as the natural entry point into the 90-day coaching program. Teachers who complete the Foundations Workshop arrive at Tier 2 already oriented to the Clearpath Framework, with their toolkit in hand and their first coaching focus already forming.
For schools and leaders who want to pilot Clearpath before committing to a larger engagement, the Foundations Workshop is the right starting point.
Pricing: starting at $2,500 per school
The Clearpath District Partnership is not a program. It is a partnership — a sustained, custom engagement that adapts the full Clearpath toolkit to the specific teacher population, instructional context, and organizational goals of your school or district.
Tier 3 is for when the context is more complex than a standard workshop or 90-day program can address. We serve seven distinct cohort populations through the same Clearpath framework, tools, and coaching methodology — adapted for each population's specific needs, stakes, and outcomes.
Pricing starts at $40,000 per engagement. Scope and final pricing are determined through a discovery conversation.
Mentorship and coaching serve related but different functions. Mentorship provides relationship and emotional support; both of which matter and neither of which Clearpath replaces.
Coaching provides structured observation, specific instructional feedback anchored in evidence, and accountability for developmental growth; which is what moves the retention needle. Research consistently shows that mentorship without structure, without observation cycles, and without a feedback framework defaults to emotional support rather than professional development.
Clearpath does not replace your mentor program. It provides the coaching layer, and the objective classroom evidence through video, that most mentor programs do not. And it does so in a structured, documented way that connects directly to retention outcomes and can be reported to boards and state agencies.
We track what actually matters — not just attendance or completion, but development. At Day 90, you receive a written progress report that documents each teacher's entry stage, growth across the engagement based on coaching observations and data, and specific recommendations for continued development.
The primary outcome measure we work toward with every partner is teacher retention. We encourage districts to track the retention rate for teachers in a Clearpath cohort compared to non-cohort teachers in the same period. That comparison is where the value of the investment becomes most visible.
For Tier 3 engagements, progress reporting is milestone-based and formatted for the specific accountability audience: school leadership, district leadership, or state and federal oversight, depending on the engagement.
For most of our district partners, Clearpath is not an additional budget line — it is a strategic use of existing federal education funds. Our programs are eligible for funding through Title I Part A, Title II Part A (Supporting Effective Instruction), and Title IV Part A (Student Support and Academic Enrichment), depending on the school's population and program structure. School Improvement funding streams are also available for Tier 3 engagements aligned to improvement plans.
We are happy to walk your budget team through appropriate funding streams during the discovery conversation. The math is also worth stating directly: at a starting price of $12,000 for a 90-day school coaching program, retaining a single teacher who would otherwise have left covers the entire investment, with significant dollars to spare. The cost of replacing a single teacher ranges from $9,000 to $20,000. Clearpath is not an expense. It is a retention investment.
Both. Every tier is designed for a different buyer. Most of our partnerships begin with a single school pilot and grow from there as district leaders see the results and want to scale.
The honest answer: the best time to start is before teachers disengage, and that happens earlier than most leaders expect. Teachers do not leave at the end of the year. They begin to disengage during the habit-formation stage.
Within the 90-day program, coaching is most effective when it begins before or alongside the teacher's classroom practice, so that Clearpath coaches are present during Stage 2, not arriving after the patterns have already hardened.
That said, Clearpath is flexible on timing and will work around your school and district calendar. The most important thing is not when we start, it is that the support reaches teachers before the decision to leave has already been made.
Every Clearpath partnership begins with a 20-minute discovery conversation. There is no agenda beyond understanding your school's or district's specific context: the challenges your teachers are facing, what support currently exists, and where the gaps are most significant.
We do not come to that conversation with a proposal. We come with questions. If there is a real fit, we will tell you clearly. If there is not, we will tell you that too. The discovery call is the first and most important expression of how Clearpath works. We listen before we advise.
Once a partnership is confirmed, most engagements can launch within two to four weeks. We are flexible on timing and will work around your school and district calendar. The most important thing is not when we start. It is that the support reaches teachers at the right developmental moment.
For the 90-day program, the Stage Self-Assessment is completed before the kickoff workshop, so even the preparation phase is developmental, not administrative. Teachers arrive at Workshop 1 already knowing their entry stage and their initial coaching focus.
